Hot (& thirsty!) work in the Algarve 7s

This weekend saw the Sirens return to the Algarve for our first competion in the international Algarve 7s.  A 2-day sports festival with over 70 international sports teams and more than 2000 athletes participating in Rugby, Netball, Field Hockey and Golf, this was always going to be our most challenging tournament to date.

We're thrilled to reveal our new logo.....  Of course we needed to keep our lovely mermaid and our netball, but she needed a bit of a makeover to ensure we could reproduce her more easily in print, for things like kit and publicity.

New year, new netball home for Silver Coast Sirens

We've come a long way since our first game in 2018!  That took place at the outdoor ground at Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro school in Caldas da Rainha, where we were playing on various sports lines!!  Original Sirens will recall it was difficult to fit around the school timetable, so a more permanent home was needed....
