We've come a long way since our first game in 2018! That took place at the outdoor ground at Rafael Bordallo Pinheiro school in Caldas da Rainha, where we were playing on various sports lines!! Original Sirens will recall it was difficult to fit around the school timetable, so a more permanent home was needed....
We then moved indoor to the sports hall at the Sociedade Columbofila Caldense, also in Caldas, where we played for a few happy years on an indoor football pitch.
But 2023 marks a new era for the Silver Coast Sirens as we move home to an indoor court fully marked with netball lines!
After a day of taking to the floor with sports lining tape, our new facility at the Associação Recreativa e Cultural Amigos da Capeleira e Navalha, near Óbidos boasts not only a netball court on a sprung floor (our knees will thank us!), showers, plenty of free parking AND a bar for post training coffees and beers!
